2011, somewhere between Berlin, film sets, and epic parties – Tobias was bouncing from one production to the next, never missing a beat, living life loud. Helena? She was deep into art school, financing it with film gigs, with an eye for aesthetics and detail, preferring the quiet side. Two worlds couldn’t have been more different – and then, our paths crossed. At a burger joint shoot. Not exactly Hollywood romance, especially since Helena was flirting with Tobias’s intern, not him. But that didn’t stop him from trying his luck with a cheesy Facebook message – total fail.

But fate had other plans: Shoot number two – a Kreuzberg nightclub. A quick chat, that’s it. Shoot number three – a 1940s war film set. Things were getting noticeable. This time, Helena agreed to a coffee date – and destiny took over. Who would’ve thought ‘This guy’s harmless’ would turn into a shared future of adventures?

The first big adventure wasn’t far off: 2014, our 13-month world trip, three of those on a 100-year-old sailing ship in the middle of the ocean. If we could survive that, we could survive anything. And we did. Back in Germany, the old routine wanted us back – but we weren’t having it. We decided to make our own films – commercials, music videos, image films. But something was missing. Heart. Authenticity. Films that gave back, that made the world a bit better, films that didn’t just look good, but moved you.

2018, the moment that changed everything: our first wedding. We were nervous – unlike our previous films, there’s no second take, no ‘Cut, let’s do that again!’ It had to be perfect from the start. And that’s what made it magic. The real emotions, the pure joy, the unscripted moments.

Today, years later, we film weddings worldwide and are still amazed by what we get to do. Love, trust, unity – the real cinema of life. And we have the honor of capturing it for eternity.
